GOOD at Söderslätt – Idea-driven Development 2022-1599

About the project

The project aims to map, shape, and anchor engagement, initiatives, and ideas within all sectors in Söderslätt based on dialogue and conversation processes to create a local sustainable development based on the BRA method. After the project, there will be several cross-sectoral mappings and reports, grounded in the local conditions in Söderslätt. The BRA model is a tool developed within the movement for local sustainable development, as a way to cross-sectorally, in a community, jointly identify common opportunities and development potential. BRA stands for Needs, Resources, and Ambitions – and the model aims to locally map, compile, and develop ideas, projects, or activities within each field with different activities, tools, and efforts, while mobilizing and building relationships between local actors!

Goals: Five BRA reports that are based on either a municipality, municipal part, or a specific theme – which can serve as a foundation for continued mobilization and local development work. The project follows a given structure and is divided into both municipality-specific modules and common activities. This is to build on the local expertise, knowledge, and conditions that are unique to participating municipalities and participating urban areas. At the same time, the project has common efforts and activities, where participants can have an overarching exchange and share experiences from their local area and
community with each other, or to go on joint study visits to inspire each other together. Module/Area/Municipality – suggestions for content and implementation 2-3 months mobilization phase to identify stakeholders and relevant selection of participants for joint kickoff, alignment, and joint planning.
