Dance floor Rosenhagen 2024-2463
About the project
Outdoor dance floor with a roof to the existing people's park.
We want to create a meeting place to gather around music, joy, and community, which is accessible for everyone to take part in. We envision Midsummer celebrations with performances, concerts, and dance evenings. A large Midsummer pole in the middle of the lawn and food stalls where you can buy snacks, a place where music, song, and dance can bring the village together and create opportunities for all ages to socialize and celebrate. A meeting place that creates conditions for several activities, promoting movement, exercise, and recreation, and fosters new encounters between villagers in and outside of Anderslöv. Otherwise, it is available for everyone to take part in when visiting Anderslöv's nature area.
Previously, there was a dance rotunda in the people's park that burned down. In the surrounding area, there are now no larger gathering places. The residents miss a meeting place, and in a vote in Trelleborg's northern rural area, this project received the most votes.
This project has a broad target group from children up to retirees. The target group benefits from the project through various events such as children's theater, performances, flea markets, music events, dance, etc. The target group has participated in voting for the project and has the opportunity to influence the range of events.
The entire purpose of the project is to create a place to increase the social network. People should meet and strengthen relationships that contribute to increased inclusion and security. The dance floor is accessibility adapted so that everyone has the opportunity to come to the place. The project also aims to promote health and well-being as it is part of a natural environment. It creates opportunities for group training, dance, markets, etc. With increased marketing and dissemination on social media, we reach out to more people and will benefit the village. The construction of a dance floor will be economically sustainable by being able to remain in place for many years and avoiding renting for each event, which saves time, money, and transportation.
