2020-2628 Sustainable leadership in Söderslätt – Umbrella project

About the project

Participation activities:

A umbrella project focusing on leadership for sustainable development allows investments that in the longer term provide leaders for sustainable change at the local level. The projects that can be granted support under the umbrella project budget must fit under one of Leader Söderslätt's overall goals, alternatively work with the UN's 17 global goals at a local level. Special priority is given to projects that involve multiple actors to stimulate knowledge transfer and experience exchange. By starting an umbrella project, we can facilitate smaller projects to be realized. The projects should contribute to a more sustainable Söderslätt by stimulating leadership development aimed at leading activities and projects that work to achieve the UN's 17 global goals at a local level. The umbrella project can provide an opportunity for non-profit organizations and businesses to, for example, conduct leadership training or stimulate good leadership in existing activities. A special focus is placed on knowledge transfer between actors in the local area. Community associations, water conservation actors, agricultural industries in various dialogue processes. The umbrella project will be searchable for external actors. The Leader office manages the reporting and compilation of the entire umbrella. Applicants should have the opportunity to quickly and easily apply for funding in this way.

The purpose of the project is to facilitate the project process for education and development efforts related to the UN's 17 Global Goals, with a clear connection to visitor activities in Söderslätt that link Söderslätt's main industries with the goal of initiating at least 4 long-term and sustainable participation activities in the Umbrella project.
