Leader Söderslätt strives to ensure that all information, regardless of who owns it, is handled in a controlled, secure, and structured manner in accordance with GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation or Data Protection Regulation.

Information sent to Leader Söderslätt becomes public documents, unless they contain information that is confidential according to the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act.

Leader Söderslätt provides information related to projects to the Swedish Board of Agriculture and to EU institutions in accordance with what follows from EU legislation, law, or regulation.

Personal data that we collect and process

Leader Söderslätt processes personal data that is necessary for the operation and to fulfill our commitments. The purposes include support management, statistics, information, follow-up, evaluation, analysis, and archival purposes based on legal obligation and public interest. The data is processed electronically.

Collection and storage of personal data

Personal data is collected through, for example, web forms, email, paper applications, and phone calls. The data may also be supplemented with information from public registers and authorities.

If you are, or have been, a participant with us, your data is stored only as long as necessary for Leader Söderslätt to administer training/conferences or as long as we must store them according to law/agreement. After that, they are deleted according to applicable retention routines. We do not delete personal data when there is a legal requirement to store them, for example, according to applicable accounting rules and EU regulations. We use anonymized information for statistical purposes and course development.

We never disclose your personal data to third parties.

Your rights

Right to access your own data – You can request a copy of all data we process about you. Contact the email address above to exercise your right of access.

Right to rectification of personal data – You have the right to request that we correct or supplement data that is incorrect or misleading.

Right to erasure of personal data – You have the right to have your personal data erased without delay. You can request at any time that we delete data about yourself. But note that information we are obliged to retain due to other legal obligations (such as accounting law) will not be deleted.
